The site's unique model: the uniqueness of Secretfriends comes from the perfect balance between different features: absolutely stunning models such as Yvet (pictured above), virtually unlimited free view (but no free chat), and a wonderful chat engine that makes camroom visitors feel in close touch to the camgirl. The upside for visitors only interested in watching webcam models with no need for further interaction is that they can get a lot for free, especially when the model is showing some skin during her private chats. This "free skin for all" model has so far worked because visitors could not help but wanting a piece of the action themselves, joining in the private chat fun. This works wonderfully well for visitors looking for close encounters and flirting with girls who do not mind doing erotic shows in plain view.
Trouble in Secret's heaven?: the trouble is that with sites such as Webcams.com, Livejasmin, Spread4U or Camcontacts offering much hotter private room experiences, visitors tend to complain or desert Secretfriends. The other consequence is that the most gorgeous Secretfriends girls tend not to show much in private shows. It is understandable that models behave that way as Secretfriends is one of only two sites with a free and clear preview of what is happening in the private shows (the other one being Delichat). Sometimes they have hundreds of free watchers at any one time... Free previews and gorgeous models have so far brought a host of fans who track the models for their every move: models enjoying a real cult following are of course Allye and Mya, but also Yvet, Denise, Amandria, Chigik and Lery. Some are even enjoying great fame long after they have stopped camming and moved on with their lives. This is the case for example of Irisha and Larisa (who since moved to Delichat).

Long Live Secretfriends! We at Camgirlsfans do not believe that Secretfriends should change their model any time soon. This is a very special site in the sea of camsites, and it hosts models who are more interested in establishing relationships with their guests than at any other site. They also tend to be much more elegant and sexy than at other sites, as evidenced by the pictures above. The disappearance of Secretfriends would also certainly lead to the retirement of the camgirls, as they would not fit at the other camsites. Secretfriends camgirls are among the few who do not split their camfeeds with other sites, and there is a reason for that!

While the site still has not added any advanced features, there is a lot going on at SecretFriends.
Secretfriends news: this camsite has a particular alchemy, with wonderful ladies, moderate prices and great chat features. No wonder it does not feel the pressure to change the mix.
Models: Secretfriends camgirls appears to group a lot of sensitive models disgruntled with other camsites, mainly from Peekshows, where some of their bios are still available. This camsite's hosts are very special to say the least. Allye (pictured above) is keeping a very regular audience mesmerized with her wide eyes, and never takes her clothes off, even in private shows. Another model, Renee, keeps her visitors in her room thanks to her great sense of humor without showing much flesh. The same is true for many other popular models like Estelle, Anette and Alesia. They are real stars, and their fans scout other sites where they may show more. A number of them are featured on Delichat, such as Estelle (Holly on Delichat), Serrene, Roz (Sunny on Delichat) and Rozarka (pictured below). However, they are not online very often. Others have been sighted some time ago on Directsex, such as Antonia. Certain Secretfriends alumni models have also joined LiveJasmin, such as Lizzya. However, the best place we have found is Mycamfriends, where many models like Edita and Elisha appear to adopt a much more daring attitude in private chat.
Certain camgirls fans have started collecting pictures and movies of those rare moments when camladies like Allye or Lery adopt sexy poses (apparently they sorted out copyright issues with Secretfriends, or the site owners do not mind the added publicity). One such site is SFfans, a recently created Yahoo group. At the time of writing, it has a large collection of pictures and some movies from the following models: Allye, Alesia, Lery, Shyva, the wonderful Estelle, Ilena, Jalene, Francy, Leylah, Anette, Fionna, Leslie, Bessy, Jennifer, Karly, Kristen, LeylaX, the fabulous Roz, Mandee, Michelle, Nicoly, Nyasia, Phenelopa, and Orchidea.
No new features: Secretfriends has yet to add many features found on other websites. There is no cam2cam, no audio, no recorded shows, and the video feeds are not very large. Still, with models treated like pop stars by their fans, and with a very original chat window that allows an enjoyable chatting experience, this camsite is under no pressure to add new options.

SecretFriends camgirls enjoy a cult following. This camsite really lets you get close and personal.
In a nutshell: models are what sets this site appart / around 30 camgirls online / no free chat, moderately priced semi-private chat only
Video quality: really pristine video feeds in a reasonable size, using Macromedia Flash-based chatblazer software. This is already the first distinguishing feature: the use of a chat system that is not specific to camgirls sites already makes you feel that you are in a different environment. The downsides are that you cannot resize the video feed and that there is no cam2cam available. Secretfriends however allows you to send your pic to the models.
Features: there is no free chat, but free previews of the video feeds are available, allowing you to know what's happening in the room before you join the chat. Once you get into chat mode, you are presented with messenger-type functions: you can add buddies - including the camgirl - you can customize the fonts, use many emoticons and most importantly you can lock yourself in whisper chat mode where only the intended recipient of your messages (most likely the model) is seeing what you type. You can also have the text chat window float and move it around your screen. Camgirls also have the option to change their chat icon. Overall, the chatting experience is very similar to what you would have on the popular messengers, except that you are flirting with a model and that you pay a fee. The offline features are not very extensive, but they are still original. For instance, Secretfriends' model bios include entries such as "what would I do if I had 1 million dollars" aside from the more obvious questions. The site also allows members to send their pics and email messages to the models. The models' schedule is clear, updated weekly and very accurate, so that you will never miss your favorite friends.
Models: only around 20 to 30 models are available at any time, but what wonderful ladies! Camgirls are typically from Eastern Europe and work out of studios, although some are real independent amateurs. Because Secretfriends only offers paid-for chat, and as an effect of the chat features, members tend to flirt and get personal with camgirls. Most models do provide adult entertainment, but you will also find girls who only want to tease and be teased. Most Secretfriends camgirls speak proper English and can entertain a great conversation. Some of them were not happy with the free/private chat model used by most other websites, presumably because they look for more than mere adult entertainment. It is really easy to develop a personal relationship with these camgirls. This is possibly the reason why Secretfriends rules are so strict and provide for the banning of any camgirl providing members with their contact details or phone numbers.

Value for money: no free chat but free voyeur video previews. Registration is at $1 for age verification purposes, and earns you 200 credits or around 20 minutes of chat. There is no recurring charge. Depending on the amount of credits you purchase, pricing is at around $1 per minute, which is quite cheap compared to other camsites. There is no real private chat as other members can join at all times. In our testing, however, other visits were relatively rare, which in effect gives you a private chat experience for the price of what other sites call semi-private or "group chat". There is a clear timer letting you know how many credits you have left and warning you when your credit is low.
