2007 is the year of HD video: after Webcams.com, it is now Streamate’s turn to add High Definition video feeds.

We must say that we have been very impressed by the quality of the HD video feeds from Streamate: crisp images, high refresh rates, this makes all large video feeds pale in comparison - except for our all-time favorite camsite, Livejasmin. The video covers the largest part of your screen, and a chat-in-picture feature allows you to communicate without losing anything from the experience. Pioneered by Livejasmin, this is now becoming a standard feature of all cutting-edge camsites.

The technology used is flash, which allows access to most web users without the need to install special software. It is also true and tested and you won’t have the hiccups associated with windows media player used on sites such as Peekshows or Pornication.

Our only gripe at this stage is that it is not always easy to find which camgirls are broadcasting in high quality. There is a little HD icon next to the model’s name in the list of online models, but that’s about it. No mention in the bio page or in the great camgirls banner at the bottom of the page, which allows easy chatroom-hopping.
